That's a tough one. The wheels you got on there now look great. Personally, I'm an HRE person but everyone's got a different opinion and taste. I've never really been a fan of black wheels only because you don't really get to appreciate the rims because you don't get to see them as well.
If I were you, I would first concentrate on engine mods. After you're done for the most part (there really never is an end point), if you've got extra moolah laying around then upgrade/swap out the rims if you're still in the mood by then.
Either way, it's a great looking car and you can't go wrong with whatever you do as long as you're happy with it in the long run. :steering:

Thanks for all the great feedback. I actually love how the car looks now but I like to be different and wanted to see what other people thought.

The car is already quite low - about 2" lower than stock.
383 Stroker,
I got a couple engine mods :D - 383 stroker, Vortech, and NX to mention a few. I've got the car to go 132mph letting off a 1000'. The magic number in my head is 140! :eek:
A cartoonist friend of mine actually has a pretty good photoshop of the black wheels on my car (the wheels that are on the famous silver C4 on 18" Fikse owned by Gary). I'll see if I can find and post it to see what you guys think.
So nobody for the aero's huh?

man, your car is awesome as it sits. is that your garage? its nicer than the car. i'm jealous of your car and your garage, does your wife look as good as your car and garage? i bet she does and i would only be jealous again. i'm eating my heart out. don't change the rims there great. if you have to, the black would make me jealous too :hat

Received my wheel/tire package from AFS today. Black spokes w/9.5" wide front - 275/40x17 and 11" wide 315/35x17 for the back. I can't believe how big the back tires/wheels look. Can't wait to get the stock wheels off the car! :party:

I think the wheels you currently have look very good.
And to go against the grain with many of the above posters, I have to say that black wheels (even with a polished rim) look awful on any car.
Stick with what you've got. Beautiful combination. Black wheels will definitely give you that "bruised banana" look if you opt to go that way.

Hey here is my .2...... Sell the fiskes, get some rgular ZR1 silver wheels from AFS, take them to a powder coated and get them done in black chrome or grey powder coat with a machined outer lip.....then spend the rest of the money on gofast parts :cheers:
