Default Decision time…

I decided not to go with the ‘86. I like the updated body panels, seats and steering wheel of 91-93. LT or L98 is fine by me.
it’s down to two cars and one dark horse. I like a 91 quasar blue with black leather sport Seats I found, 84k miles. Very clean. Well taken care of. Also happens to be a GM corporate order and was used for PR and brochure pics etc…so it’s got at least an interesting history. Beautiful shape. $13k firm..a little on the high side but not too bad from what I’ve seen. There’s a bunch of stuff out there but the other one is a Ruby Red 40th Ltd edition with 57k miles, looks clean. Asking $12,500 OBO…so, who knows how much less but at least 1-2k I’d imagine. The dark horse is something I wasn’t considering or expecting to see..a 1990 ZR1 with 35k miles for $20k..it had a deposit and buyer was trying to get approved. I’ll find out the status today. Sounds a little too good to be true. I wasn’t planning on dropping $20k but for a clean 35k mile ZR1, I would. It’s about $10k below market so, seems a little weird.
I like the 91 quasar blue L98 but it could easily be a 100k mile car before too long so I’m not sure what the best move is…
the 40th edition is newer, much less miles at 57k and cheaper both look great, both 6 speeds.blue on has FX3 which is not a big deal either way...I just need to decide what I want.

I'd go with the 93. It's better in every way. The L98 is fine.... But it isn't better.

I don't really trust the zr1 for 20k. It could be an amazing deal, but more than likely its a scam.

Quasar Blue ZF6 1991 is my suggestion!

I would skip on the ZR1 as your first car.

Personally I never liked the look of commemorative anything, coins, handguns, cars...
Also being an earlier LT1...

Don't let the higher miles scare ya much
Well maintained is well maintained!

I wouldn't shy away from the ZR-1......My 91Z is my first Corvette and in 8 years its been bullet-proof.

Between the 91 and 93, I'd go with the 93. A much more refined car.

ZR1 is cool for sure, but usually when something seems to good to be true...well....
