Spark plug wire

So I just put headers on my 1993 LT1 and it seems like the spark plug wire for cylinder 8 is not on fully. I’m curious if anyone knows if 1993 LT1 will set CEL for a spark plug wire not plugged in? The boot of the wire seems to be getting caught on the header so I think I may need90° wires? Let me know your thoughts.

IDK about your model year's setting a code. Just from the look of it, I'd change the boot.

I guess you can't all of them. But ones that look like yours you usually can just pull off.

Looks like you just need a 90 degree plug wire. And yes, a loose plug wire can throw a CEL

Yeah you need to do something about that. Yes it will throw a Check engine light

Yes, you can change boots. You can also make your own plugs wire so they fit better around the headers
