First time vette owner
This is my first corvette 1991 C4 coupe. The first day I owned it the transmission blew. Took it to a local shop they couldn’t find a remand one so they had a guy from a local transmission shop rebuild it ( on the side). 19 months later and it has gone out again. Went to the shop and they said we ( can’t stand behind what that guy did). I have ordered a 700R4 TCI street fighter kit with converter 24-2800 stall new cooler etc. from JEGS. And they agreed to install it for free. Should be here Friday. Does anyone have any good or bad things to say about a TCI trans? Part number is 890-371000k.

Welcome to the forum! That's a really nice looking Corvette, thats for sure!! How many miles are on the car? The 700R4 usually will last quite a long time and is fairly robust. Do you know any of the car's history?
