In the photo what is the connection circled in red. and what if you are looking at a car tomorrow where this is disconnected.
So what is it and any advice on reconnecting it. Noob questions am I right.

also attached a photo that I am looking at before I go look at the car tomorrow. Did you see any other red flags?

Fuel lines. One supply and one return. Need a special tool to disconnect. Just push back together if the seal is good. Dan

WHY they are disconnected is the question. The owner must have thought there was a fuel leak. Maybe an injector or the pressure regulator. Maybe ask him why. Dan

Thanks. They probably wont know. It’s at a salvage depot. Clean title. They say the motor and transmission checked out on their initial inspection. Maybe it is disconnected because they don’t know how long they will sit there?

I am going to have it towed to my place. Worst case scenario I am out a couple grand, but best case I get a fun hobby car for pretty cheap.

what all do you see missing. The air intake pieces are in the front seat.
It’s hard to see the other fuel line connection from that angle.

Pretty sure they did not get the engine to run without injectors. I have no idea how they "checked out" either the motor or trans. Dan

what exactly are you looking for? As the two you have been inquiring about seem to be $hitboxes.

lol the truth. Honestly I am looking for something that is a project but something that I could teach myself with without being so messed up that it’s a money pit.

I was looking for something that I could get relatively cheaper and put some effort into and make it worth more than I spent. I had been looking at 96+ to have the LT1, maybe easier emissions etc. ideally something less than 10k

maybe I should just get an old civic…🤮

I never said it was a bad bet as I can't find the price in your post. Or I missed it. There is a price that would make it a good bet. Dan

3000 with a free tow to my house. Someone was working on it. Interior isn’t terrible. Body work is mostly done as they were prepping for paint. Needs paint, tires, fuel injectors apparently, some weather stripping, lights out back in. seemed like mostly manageable stuff, but they maybe are being deceptive since they said motor and trans had been checked out as
good.

Mira an automatic which I don’t love

Lol. Just for that I’m definitely doing it. I think I will make a YouTube channel of my exploits and who knows in the end maybe I will burn it to the ground. That’ll get some views..

I guess it depends if you just want something to screw around with or to actually drive and enjoy. The wing would be a hard veto for me. Dan
