New York seems to have plenty of it's own, why focus on Florida. This **** is everywhere, Including the "New York Gods" of underground and the 2 women who burned to death on Staten Island in a corvette. I spent a good part of my life pulling living people and dead bodies from cars and another part filming them as a stringer. A road is a road and stupid is as stupid does.

There's actually a very interesting reason!
Florida has an unique law called the "Sunshine Law". It essentially requires all government activity to be freely available for the public to view (we view the government as for the people, not to rule over them like our northern and western friends). Florida requires arrest records to be publicly available essentially immediately. Add in the #3 most populated state factor, and it is easy to see how it's a gold mine for lazy reporters.
The whole reason the inept media picks up on these are the dramatic debris field that occur when corvettes crash. The question here is, why do corvettes disintegrate ?
""Uhm, where the heck is the frame?""
It was an actual crash, it made all the news channels here in Central Fla. Before they took it down one newspaper had an image of him on the ground with his left leg bending the wrong way and a giant gash on the back of his calf which was probably caused by the bone.

Unfortunately idiots like this are everywhere. I’m no longer amazed by people’s actions. Whether it’s street racing or road rage incidents, it happens all the time. I too have spent my life putting evidence markers on body parts strewn about the roadway. People pulling guns on people seems to be a more mainstream cool thing to do. It truly is scary what happens on the road and is what makes me an extremely protective parent. I don’t even want my kids out there but you can’t live your life in fear either. You just pray it never happens to your kids. This idiot and the moron in the mustang should be revoked for life so they can no longer put others’ lives in danger. Getting on it here and there and taking a corner now and then might be part of enjoying the experience when it’s a reasonably safe spot to do so, but triple digit speeds and stuff like this are just reckless.

The report said the Mustang cut the Vette off, triggering the wreck. It's a good reminder that stuff like this has SO MANY ways to go wrong. You may think you're good but when somebody else does something unpredictable, it can take you out too. Bad enough at reasonable speed. At 100+, it won't end well. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. (Lest anyone think I'm preaching, at a young age I did more than my share of stupid dangerous stuff. I am very lucky I didn't kill myself and/or someone else)
