Default Engine Differences

Sorry for such a stupid question but what is the difference between a LT1 LT4 and L98. Characteristics wise as well as hp and torque as well as what years they were offered in. I don't no much about C4 corvettes and am trying to learn more. Thanks

L83-84 vette, 205HP
L98-85-91, varied from 230-250HP and 330Tq
LT1-92-96, 300HP/330Tq, but torque was increased in the middle because of Sequential Injection
LT4-96, all 6 speeds of that year, factory rated at 330HP but actually puts out 350HP

L83, L98 are just regular SBCs with different intakes and types of FI. LT1 engines are the Gen II SBC, reverse cooling with a different intake from the L98s. Basically everything was improved for the LT engines. The L98 intake was originally designed for a 305, but when GM decided to go with the 350 they were stuck with it, thats why everybody on here with an L98 will modify their intake.
