Default Almost there........

Been working on replacing the Bose system in my car. The last bit of wiring involves getting 2 12 gauge wires to the battery. Where is the best place to stick these through the firewall?

Pull the hush panel out from the driver's side. Look up in there. There are lots of places that you can drill that will put your wires right next to the battery. I put in a nice thick rubber grommet and pulled my wires in there.

Stupid question but why 2 pieces of 12 awg? Is this for a small amp? If so you can ground to the seat studs.

Thanks! The wires are power for a small 4 channel amp and a low profile 8" powered sub.

Save yourself hassle and run a single 8GA wire, and then a distribution block in the back.

As I recall, I brought my 4GA wiring in near where the vacuum lines come into the passenger compartment.
