If you have a car at top level (show car) it is a neat item to have and display. If you just like it, it is a cool item to have and display. Corvette owners have their cars because it is what they like. And to be honest (as I am restoring another one now) it is one of the cheaper accessories you can buy in 2024.
Any vette I purchased that did not come with the original window sticker I then ordered from The Museum and the sticker and build sheet( which usually never comes with the car) and are top quality. I suggest you order with lamination. Also a great way to document options in your vette for future sale!! Good Luck buddy!
If your SPID label is present and the car is pretty much a basic build the expense is maybe not warranted. If you feel the car has some unusual options that create some 'rarity' then the expense to validate that fact might be warranted.

No idea if it's rare. It's a strange color combo being dark red exterior with the flame red interior..but I don't know enough about them to know what's rare.
It's certainly an interesting build. Z51, Automatic.
Has 70k on the clock and has been in the family for a long time...sat 20 years in a garage when the owner passed. Im getting it back on the road for the fam to enjoy. No real plan to change if from original. But the color combo caught my eye as being unusual.
My car came with no documentation except the VIN. So the sticker and build sheet were essential for getting the right parts and knowing what the car came with originally. The car may have been a waste of money, but the build sheet and sticker were not.
If todays price is 100$ I'd say you might want to think on it. It wasn't so long ago I believe that 50$ would do the buy.
Those that have theirs post up year purchased and how many $$ the purchase was.
None of my Corvettes came with a window sticker. I found rhe build sheet for my 93 when I had the rear bumper off but it was destroyed. I ordered the window stickers and build sheets for all three of the car's. I ordered them laminated and I can honestly say thay it was worth the money to me personally to have the exact reproduction window sticker and a copy of the build sheet. Was it expensive? Yes. But I'm just greatful that the documentation can be replicated and acquired.
I'm considering doing the same even though I have the original window sticker that came with the car when I bought it in 2016. It's just a standard early 1986 but hard to believe I've had this car for eight years already.

I know I bought mine 8-10 years ago and it wasn't $100. I'm guessing 50-60 for both ...
