Default I need help identifying a wire

There's this open thick wire under my driver side door, and the closest thing I could find to it at autozone was a 12 gauge. I've got a couple leading theories as to what it is but I'm not completely sure as I've yet to find a wiring diagram online. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙌

Im not sure about the bulb being out, given the state of the car right now I'm sure it is 😂. The car isn't currently running as I'm in the middle of a monster of a restoration project and the car seems to be shorting out somewhere. After about 10 minutes all the lights go out and if I turn the key the fuel pump doesn't run (those are pretty much the only 2 indicators of life the car has). You seem to be spot on though. I had just thought it was power going to rear speakers or the taillights but I couldn't find any wires that matched. Thank you very much 🙏

If your ABS works, or there is another harness with the sensor and power wiring in it, could those be an aftermarket addition that has been abandoned? Such as a power amp? Running power from the battery for an amp in the cargo area outside the car, under the rocker panel is a lot easier than trying to run it through the interior. Just a WAG.

You didn't say what year (no newer than 1990), but if it is an 84 or 85, it is definitely an add-on because these 2 years don't have ABS.
It's a 1987**
