Default Wheel fitment

Looking for some insight on wheel fitment and tire size. I have an 87 Base currently on C5 wagon wheels with 1.25 spacers all around. I’m looking to buy weld pro stars and want to make sure the offset is right. I’ve used an offset calculator and it seems these might work. 15x8 +25 5.5 back spacing on the front and 15x10 +25 6.5 back spacing on the rear. Anyone know of any issues running 15” wheels? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe anything in 15" should be ruled out. JUST DON'T GO THERE!!!

What’s the reasoning? I think it looks good.

What’s the usage/purpose if I may ask?

Those offsets and widths should work well for the 84-87 cars. Most people dropping that much money on wheels usually want something wider… for the 15’s I kind of like the idea, more so than running 19’s, no information on how it fits but it’s unlikely that it presents a problem that can’t be overcome.

You have the tires figured out? Typically 25-26” diameter is best.

Thanks for the insight. I just like the idea of a little more rubber and the weld pros are just appealing to me. I like the way they look. I haven’t figured out tires yet. I’d like a little bit of rubber in the back but not so big that I can’t spin the tires here and there. I agree with width, but they don’t make anything in between 8 & 10. Kind of going for the “muscle” look on this car, bigger in the back smaller in the front. I’ll attach a picture for reference. Any recommendations on tire sizes for front and back would be greatly appreciated.

I still believe that you should consider other than 15" but if you're dead set on the Weld Prostar then just rethink the math and offsets. They do have a 9" wheel but not at the offset you mentioned for the others.
