I have a 1990 cvette & got stuck on CA smog test. Anyway (reputable shop) needed ECM swap so replaced with an AC Delco Professional rebuild. My question is should I keep the old one ($100 core I'd need to pay)? Image is of remanufactured one.
My thoughts why I ask is because it is the OEM original with tag decal and would I be wishing I kept it since the car is for the most part OEM and sell it and the value takes a hit due to non-original ECM.

only if you are going to replace it or keep the car for the next 100 years then it may be worth it
The shop bought the EMC & said if I wanted the core its a $100 since thats what the supplier they got it from charges them.
