Maybe its THAT JAMMED CAPS LOCK KEY CAUSING THE PROBLEM.....*hands JIMSZ71 a pry bar*
The left and right door jamb switches have white wires on them and if you have determined that the switches are ok and are being activated by the door, then your next test is to determing if the switch grounds are good. Jump the white wire to ground and see if the interior courtesy lights come on. If they don't , then you have a defective courtesy light delay timer. The door jamb switches when grounded (door open), tells the delay timer to ground the interior lamps which turns them on. Your headlight control grounds the lights by itself.
