Door compatibility
Hey guys. I'm newly registered but I've been using this site for a few yrs now and it has helpful more than words can say. I have a 93 ruby. It's my first time owning a vette. It's been quite an experience. I have a question about door compatibility. My drivers door was backed into and badly damaged. I found a 1987 door but it seems there are small differences and I'm having a hard time putting it on my car. Will a 1987 door properly fit a 1993 car?

The door may fit, but the interiors changed in 1990. The door panel won't match the passenger side and the door panels aren't interchangeable. I am sure there are less obvious differences. Here is a compatibility chart by Mirrockcorvette.

Thank you for the info. I did get the door hung so that it opens and closes nicely. But it has no weather seals and no inside panel. That's what I get for not doing my research first. Hey have a great day guys. Thanks again for the info.
