Power lock question

Power lock question
I have a 94 coupe and when I go to lock the doors I have to hit the power lock 2 or 3 times in order for the doors to fully lock... how do I fix this because this makes it so my PKE remote won't lock the door automatically... it almost seems like it's binding up or something.... it seems to unlock fine.

I finally replaced the actuator and that solved the problem for me.

When you say you hit the power lock are you talking about the lock on the inside of the doors, or are you talking about the button on the fob? Holding down the DOOR button on the fob will change the fob from locking the doors when you walk away to not doing anything (and vice versa).
