As I mentioned in a previous thread, I just drove my 1992 Corvette out of storage today.
Although I've owned this car for almost nine years, I just today noticed this switch mounted under the driver side dashboard.
Can anyone tell me whether it's a factory item, and if so what does it control?
Thanks in advance!

Alright then, definitely not factory.
The only thing non-stock on the car (besides that switch) is the radio, it's been upgraded to a Pioneer unit.
Maybe the switch does control the antenna, I'll give that a look.

The previous owner may have installed a Flux Capacitor. Get vehicle up to 88MPH and flip the switch and see what happens.
Well were waiting to hear what that mystery switch does, since you never saw it, try it?
Mystery solved!
It is, as another Forum member suggested earlier, a switch to retract the antenna when not needed with the radio on (such as when listening to recorded media via a USB cable).
