C4 problems
I recently bought a 1985 corvette and it had a few issues. I replaced the IAC valve, fuel pump, fuel sending unit, and changed the oil earlier today. It used to have some issues with idling where the engine would turn off but it would always turn back on every time, this problem went away after i installed the new fuel pump. Earlier today after we changed the oil in the corvette me and a buddy were driving around in the corvette to see how it handled, and as i was taking a turn the engine completley died at a stop sign. We pushed it to the side of the road and tried to restart the engine, it WOULD crank but not start. We tried starting the car 3 hours later the engine would not crank at all. Recently i did a bunch of electrical work (new dash and LED lights) so i thought maybe the battery was dead, but the lights, dash, and most other electrical functions inside the car still worked. Either way we got some jumpers and tried to jump start the car and that also didnt work. Is it possible that this is a small fix, like a spark plug or that i installed one of the aforementioned pats incorrectly? Is this going to be a huge problem? If anyone has any ideas before i take it to a mechanic it is much appreciated, cheers.
