Default Koni Shocks First Impression

Well I installed Koni yellows today in my 96 LT4. Installation went smoothly as I had hoped. Fronts went on without raising the car or removing the tires. Rears took a bit longer. Set the fronts at half a turn and the rears at a quarter turn. The Bilsteins I pulled out were OE for a FE1 suspension car. Fronts were leaking but still worked. Rears seemed ok. Irregardless they went in the trash. As for how it drives now…..what an absolute incredible difference. No more darting over bumps. Car now has a very positive feel. I put the Koni Red FSD on my BMW on its last suspension rebuild and thought they were pretty damn good. This is a whole different story. If anyone is looking to replace shocks and can afford the extra for Koni….my advice is to go for it.

I had used a discount code at Summit racing. Paid $168 and change for each one with free shipping.
