I recently swapped my 4+3 for a ZF6. (Anyone need a 4+3?)
When the ZF6 arrived it came with everything from the C beam to the bell housing, including a clutch pedal and transmission tunnel half with the 6 speed cutout. Very cool.
While swapping all of this over to my 86 vert I noticed that the C beams are an inch different in length, the 86 being 40 inches long and the 90 being 41 in length.
Does anyone know why this is?
I believe the OP has measured OL(Overall Length) and that might be so BUT critical dimension is C/L to C/L of the install hardware bores.(C/L = Center Line). There was a part number change of the D44 C-beam somewhere I believe maybe '86.
