sun visor shaft taper?
The pass side sun visor on the 94 C4 was loose. I removed it and noticed that the taper seems smaller than the hole it goes into? Is there a plastic bushing or something to take up some of the room? Even with the nut tightened all the way down to the shoulder on the shaft the visor is loose. Yes, The spring and top retainer are in place. Is the hole in the header a taper? Thanks

Mystery solved. The pass side was an aftermarket visor with a different taper. I removed the driver side and that taper fit correctly on the pass side. I got lucky and found a like new pass side visor with the correct taper. I am slowly removing aftermarket parts from this car and every removal is an improvement. Edit - I found the receipt for this poor fitting visor in he papers that came with the car. ZIP Corvette item I-2995 which they no longer carry
