Climate Control/Radio Problems
On one of the C4 Facebook groups I posed a question that no one seemed able to answer but there seemed to be consensus that others were having a similar issue and I'm wondering if anyone on here has solved it yet! My car's climate control system does not turn on or function at all. It lights up with the dash lights but I am unable to turn it on and have it function at all. Other people reported a similar problem and that there radio's went out with it at the same time. As I opened up the dash to look more at my climate controls, I noticed that my aftermarket radio is wired in completely separate from the original system. It is tapped into the cars battery, but all the wiring is new and aftermarket and connected to a speaker and sub in the trunk area of the car, it does not play through the stock speakers. I'm beginning to wonder if this was put in due to the fact that the original radio went out and they didn't know how to make it work.
Any thoughts, conclusions, or ideas on how to proceed next out there? They would be greatly appreciated! I would love to have some a/c or at least moving air in the cabin.....
P.S. attached are the picture of my car, what it looked like when I first got it and now. We nicknamed it the Bomb Pop for obvious reasons!

it appears that mine is still connected. Is the sensor bad if the climate control is not working and still plugged in?
