I'd like to have my engine clean so that I can nearly eat on it...
Then I've got 2 questions :
- Is it good for the engine to be cleaned (Could it be harmed in any way)?
- How can I clean it, which kind of cleaning product to use?
Thanks for your replies guys
Just make sure you don't spray heavy water, the OPTI SPARK will fubar on you. Im sure you will get alot of good advice from the show car Vette owners in the forum. I think you will find just plane ol hand cleaning a little at a time is the way to go. Good luck to you.

Best advice anyone can give you... Just wipe a little each time you clean it and before you know the whole thing will be clean! :yesnod:

Re: Cleaning the engine (Dudule)
Simple Green and a toothbrush is what I usually do. However, I have taken it to a self serve car wash and hosed it off. But mine is an L98 with no optispark issues. What works well for me is to drench it in Simple Green, scrub what I can with a toothbrush or paintbrush, let it soak then hose off the rest. Also the Car Care Products forum has a lot of real **** cleaning types there too  http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zeroforum?id=10
