EVAP Solenoid
96 Corvette Grand Sport. Found this ACDelco Part 214-565 installed just behind the driver side headlight. It needed care as the rubber tube on 1 of the port going into the T connector along side engine (probably going to the engine). I have couple of questions:
1. I see the other vaccum port is sealed. Is that right?
- OR should it that port be open?
- OR combine these 2 ports with T conencter or Y connector before connecting the other end its connected to.
- I believe i have seed a diagram posted by David10 on this forum this port connection going to Vaccum Switch. I can't find it now.
2. I have seen in this forum people talking about location of this valve moved from the front to the back for later year models. Is it possible that there are 2 different EVAP 1 at the front and the 2nd one at the back close the the fuel tank??
