Default Creeky seats

Are your seats noisy? I drive with my stereo off a lot to hear the motor roar, and I can't believe the seats, the damn tings are noisy.

take the seat bottom out, and tighten the four bolts that hold the seat to the seat track.

:iagree:

If that's not the cause, I'd be very surprised. I've dealt with this one more than a few times installing stereos for people. It should only be one nut that's lose if it's creaking. Two it would wobble, same with three. Four the whole seat would move. :yesnod:

I need to check that! Mine isn't noisy but it DOES rock slightly forward/back. Bet those bolts need snugged up...

...how do you get the seat bottom off to get to the bolts

Push down on the seat and reach under the seat, there should be a metal handle that acts as a retainer. Just push it towards the back of the car and they pop right out.
