There is likely information on them that would help the ID of them and if you mentioned the wire colors. Clean the wires? Is there a number on them that starts with DR.... ? Might be on the sheet metal bracket. The white and green Weather-Pack might be good for some to ID. I believe I can but it might take a bit.

There are various solenoid that have that appearance on your car.

Based on the location of the harness break-out, and the connector colors, those are the two solenoids for the "Smog Pump" Diverter Valve and Air Switching Valve. The solenoids would have been contained within a plastic "box" along with the valves mounted alongside the smog pump. (I'm guessing that the pump and controls have been removed.) A drawing of the system is in Section 6E3-C6 of my 1988 FSM. 1989 is the same.
