Default New Vette owner.

I just became a owner of a 1987 Convertible about a four months ago.
I bought it from my brother (screen name Prater). First trip home, the dana 36 with 3.73 gears shatters. :mad He helped me out and got a housing with 3.07 gears they lasted about 2000 miles. They were out of a wrecked car. Anyway the car should be back on the road by next week. I really enjoy the forum and there is tons of good info posted. just wanted to say hi to everyone

My brother was in the process of building a new motor that was going to include turbos. While working on the motor he decided to upgrade to a 2000 FRC, its a sweet ride. So, in the process I picked up his old Vette. I think he is selling the turbos  but not real sure.
