Today as I pull into the parking lot or where I work I notice a new blue c4. "Ohh yeah I gotta go check this out!" So it looks pretty cool, I think stock, but when I am walking around it I notice the right tire looks different than the rest of them. I look closer he has a 245 tire on the right and a 255 tire on all the rest. :skep: I am sure it was stock rims too...
I don't know why he would do that, and wouldn't there be repercussions like the tire air level, alignment, and wear???
(Just struck me as odd...) :skep:
:iagree:
It seems I should just be rid of my internet service and be able to log on to here. Its all I virtually use the internet for anymore. And yeah, it did make me curious as to what else could be wrong.... :(
A friend of mine bought a new 427 Vette in 1968. They had different tires on front and rear. He started having trouble with his rear end. They replaced it and eventually discovered that he had one rear tire on the front and one front on the rear in opposite corners. It was a factory mistake.
Its possible he was driving in a remote area and hit road debris, and had to get a new tire. 255's might not be stocked everywhere, and he purchased a 245 to continue his journey.
