Default Convertible headliner question.....

I put new velcro on to hold the headliner flaps. With the windows down the fabric on the decklid flaps and eventually pulls the velcro strip off of the B pillar. What adhesive are people using to hold the velcro in place better? Secondly, I don't recall the fabric on the decklid flapping around in my last vert. Is there another problem I should be looking at? Thanks!

Yes, there are elastic straps that hold the fabric tight so it doesn’t flap in the wind. I had to replace mind for that reason. They are held with screws on one end and you have to sew the other end on the fabric.

I just bought some FlexSeal glue to try. All of their stuff seems to work well. If not, I'll just buy some 3M Heavy Duty velcro.
