I have a 94 C4 with a ride control light on. I took it to a Corvette specialist in my area and he said that it not storing a code. So he does'nt know or can't tell what the problem is. Anybody ever run into this before ?
Put a jumper wire between the Diagnostic Test connector cavities 3 and 4. Turn key to RUN. Watch Service Ride Control light. It will flash the codes for the FX3.
You are aware that it is normal for the Svc Ride Control light to come on if you cycle the key several times without the car moving? Once it gets some road speed, the light goes off. << This is normal.

It would still give a code 23 during retrieval.
My guess is the scan tool being used is not able to hit the SRC and as a result, mechanic is tossing his hands up. Can't be the tools fault!
If the tool can't read the codes, it can't clear them either. The jumper can clear FX3 codes as well as read them. I wonder if the "Corvette specialist" knows how?
