Default New member checking in....

Just thought I would make my first post after registering for this forum. I have been reading it for a couple of months and figured I should go ahead and register since it seems like a great forum. I have been wanting a Vette since I was 15 (I am 30 now) and am getting close to shopping for my first one within the next few months. I will be looking for a 92-96 and will probably have about 14k to spend.
Just wanted to say this is a great forum and the members seem to be very helpful!

Ron, Best of luck on your search. Like you I have always wanted a vette (Just turned 33). I bought my 92 about 7 months ago for 15K. I was so excited I didn't even check the used car guides. I know I overpaid, but I did get a "Vette" in mint cond. with 31,000 miles.

I would try and get your hands on a Lt4 or ZR1, if you can for that price. But, the Lt1 is just fine in my book.

welcome :seeya

you 14K dollars should get you a decent car in the years you are looking at.

Speaking from personal experience, beware of "impulse" buying though.

There are so many nice cars out there, you wont have to buy the 1st "pretty" one you see.

Good luck with your search... looking foward to seeing more posts.

Love my '95 vert but kind of wish I'd held out for either a 6 speed or a G92 car.
