Bolt missing on hood / hinge... thoughts?

We already figured it out. It's a double-sided bolt that's supposed to be directly threaded into the SMC (see other replies), which was ripped out. I'll have to take the hood off, remove the bracket's and pack / fill the hole with SMC compound and chopped glass mat. Then, when it dries, I'll drill it to the interior diameter of the bolt, and screw it in.

^^^^ That's like mine and to extract an OE/GM stud you would have to remove the riveted reinforcement or perhaps use a hole saw to bore a hole larger than the diameter of the securing flange of the OE/GM stud. See #3, #16 & #17
