The Heater box has the colored vacuum lines that attach to this Round Plastic piece. That then has a Black wheel that can spin. It looks like it is supposed to fit into something. But we can't find anywhere that it fits. Wondering if we are missing a part to the Heater Control Box??
The first few pics show the Round part I am talking about. Then some pics of the Control box. I don't see anywhere that this would connect too.
ALSO, for some reason, the two Levers don't seem to stick out far enough for us to connect the buttons onto. Is there some sort of Extension needed to connect these buttons to the ends of the levers? The top one may be fine, but the bottom Hot/Cold one is almost impossible to move from left to right. And doesn't stick out nearly enough. Can you see from the pics if our Box is not correct
Yep, as seen above.
That plugs into the back of your heater controls. Changes where the vacuum goes to open and close doors in the AC/Heat system.
Leak check all of them! Apply vacuum to all of the doors as well to ensure they actually move. When I was checking mine, I found several hoses had been chewed by mice.
Not a fun system to work on with the C4. It's worth the effort in the end to have a complete system that works well.
