I guess since the C4 seat has space for 4 straps but only has 2 is that the accountants overruled the designers to save 50 cents per seat. Decided to see what adding the other two straps would do. Being 6", 270 lbs I like it.
Goggle C4 seat straps, turns up many listings including several from the usual new parts suppliers. Prices range from $25 to $43 per seat. Kits include 2 straps and 2 mounting wires. I would guess that most kits are manufactured by the same company. Least expensive was from Zip. I have had very good luck dealing with them, good prices and fast, reasonable shipping.
CorvetteCentral.com but Ecklers, Zip, Mirrock Topflight, Ebay and Amazon carry then. Christmas gift from my sweet wife who understands (puts up with) my hobby of throwing money at old cars.

I added the extra straps to both of my seats and it made a noticeable difference. It doesn’t feel like I sink in as much when I sit down.
Agree, thanks for the info dburgjohn. I just got a set for both seats and installed them last night. Gonna see how it feels today when I drive it to the office.

really like the hat, my natural head cover is nearly gone and it is 28 degrees this morning.

Thanks re hat. I've got 3 kiddos and my middle kiddo got me that C8 beanie/skull cap for Christmas a year ago. I still have my natural head cover, but I do like a nice skull cap to keep me warm in these frigid temps....I'm not too far from you, in Memphis.
Not sure if you just want to go for a quick fix, but when I was working on redoing my seats I just got some cargo straps and hooks (less than $10 per seat) and figured it had to be better than the rusted grating. Made a HUGE difference in how it felt in the seat and I am at 250lbs.

The straps used in my seats are elastic, guessing the setup you did is quite a bit firmer than mine. I would have tried that first if the thought had occurred to me (have a box full of those). The great thing about this forum is the creativity here. There is always more than one solution to any issue.
