Default Shield location unknown

I bought my first Corvette (1990 convertible) last summer. It was partly disassembled, and did not find correct place for this shield(?) in picture during assembly. I checked also lots of pictures from internet with no luck. Any advice from more experienced members?

It's an exhaust manifold heat shield. I don't think it is for a Corvette. The 90 Corvette uses 2-piece heat shields that screw the halves together with metal screws over the tubes. They don't look anything like the one in the picture that is held to the cast manifold with the same bolts that hold the manifold to the head. Could it be a Camaro heat shield?

Thank you for information. That is good news, I was afraid I need to dissassemble something to get that piece on its place. Everything seems to be pretty tight fit in engine compartment..

It must have been accidentally put in wrong box by previous owner. Luckily there was almost all required parts also.
