Oh the suspense is killing me..... It is the shielded wiring taking the speaker signal out to the amps in a Bose system. If you dont have the Bose system, you wont have those shielded wires.
Today i started my double din conversion... while i was in there i saw the remnants of the shielded wiring. Best i can figure there would be 2 pairs of wires shielded coming from this connector... but, if it helps, this is what it looks like.
For some reason, the 85 bose schematic does not match the 85 bose radio lid. I did find the gold foil shield.

Reason: technical error
Since most of my connectors under there were quite butchered or totally missing, I wont recognize anything by the connector.
And, I don't have an 85 FSM.
Looking at this 87 FSM I have, there is a pink wire that energizes the Amp relay for the Bose system. A second pink wire coming from the radio goes to the power antenna.
The only Orange wire i see is an always hot line coming from the CTSY/CLK Fuse.
Black is most always ground.
