Default 1985 window regulator upgrade

I bought a new scissors-type window regulator to upgrade my old ribbon-style one, but there was no rubber down stop (per the instruction sheet) to screw to the oval hole at the bottom of the driver's door. I have found no pictures or part numbers for this part and I want to complete the upgrade, but can't until I get the down stop in position. I have a Haynes shop manual and an 85 Corvette shop manual as well, but neither has anything about the down stop. If anyone has done this install and knows where to find this bottom stop, I would greatly appreciate any help.

I did this years ago in an 84,I do remember the plug was different and the bottom of the regulator bolted to the bottom of the door.

When I had to replace mine in 2023 on my 86 , the new regulator came with the down stop rubbers that just pushed into slots at the bottom of the door. Mine also had the two new holes for the scissor style regulator already there.

When I owned a C4, I also bought new window regulator and thought I could installed it, well I found out I needed certain tools, so I called a local glass company came right to my door, and installed, like he new what he was doing.

So cost a little, but the job done right, and worked great for decades till I sold the car.

The window regulator upgrade was a breeze for me and works fine. I just need to add the rubber bottom stop to the hole vacated by the old style regulator. I can't find the part or it's OEM number so I may just push in a round rubber bumper-type stop.
