84 C4 digital gauages

84 C4 digital gauages
I have an 84 C4, it has 2 gauge cluster issues! put in fresh battery its says 12.6v run it a time or two and it starts to say 10.6v but starts and runs fine battery is 12.6v gauge is 10.6??? and second fuel gauge says full all the time??? any ideas?

First issue can be caused by many things.
1) Alternator failure. This can include the voltage regulator which is built into the alternator. Bad voltage regulator can undercharge or overcharge if defective.
2) Loose or corroded contacts.This includes battery, alternator and starter motor.
3) Loose or corroded grounds. There are many locations for grounds.
If you don't already have a FSM I recommend one ASAP.
Second issue is probably related the the fuel tank and the fuel level float. It is probably stuck in the full position. It is easy to gain access. Again a FSM will be very helpful.
