I'm surprised that Joe hasn't posted back but I believe he was attempting to set a link for a previously owned car that was involved in a collision after the sale. He included the VIN in the link and the CF 'tools' saw the VIN and took the VIN to decode but the collision aspect of the intended link didn't function. WAG?
Maybe the collision loss became more involved and he just left it as is.
