Need help with Steering Column
I dropped the steering column, adjusted the dimmer switch and replace the pivot pin with a bigger one. My Problem is getting the plastic cover put back over the pivot pin that the turn signal lever goes through. Anyone help me out? Thanks in advance. Sorry, year is 1992.

Every GM steering column I ever did seems to require 4 hands and is a total pain. But from what your pictures show you should be able to compress it a little and slide it into place. In 2nd pic you can see lip at top that needs to be inside the case part of column. Just take your time and keep your cool. I lost a few plastic parts when I messed up that 2nd part.
