Default Where do these go ?

Where
OK I give up. Pretty sure they attach to the front cradle. 1990 with FE7 Suspension. The Bolts are metric and I haven't had any other metric cars in my shop. One of the bars has a scrape on it showing it bottomed out. I think I found one on eBay listed for a C4.

The single bolt end goes forward. There is an aluminum spacer and it's a little fussy to get it all lined up.
The double bolt ends go to the K member forward of the PS cooler. Not as fussy.

EDIT: Something didn't seem right. ^^ It took me a minute. I went and looked on my 92 and the ones in the pic aren't there. Same with the 90 FSM, and my recollection of my 90. Those don't go on a 90. A 90 has the impact bar thing that transfers front impact energy into the frame rails so the air bag sensors detect it.

I looked under my 85, and there they are. I suppose you could save some weight by using those instead of the 90-up structure. Cheers.

I've seen that "double stud" plate thing, but I can't recall where it goes. It is not part of the impact brace set-up. I don't think.

I can take pics in the morning if you still need them.

The double stud plate goes inside the K-member on its rear wall, right behind the rear side of the center of the transverse leaf....to mount one end of the braces that flair out to the frame rails👍

This all makes sense. I had a 1989 that I sold as a project Car. I guess they didn't get all the parts. !
