I have a '95 coupe that is bone stock. I'd like to be able to charge my phone while driving, but none of the plug in adapters will work. My lighter works fine, and judging by the looks of it, it's never been used. Plug in for a FM adapter doesn't work. No power. Just a plain plug in with USB outlets doesn't work. Has anyone else had this problem? I know there are power wires tucked under the console, but I'd rather not tap into those and have a socket hanging out. I just want to be able to open the ashtray door, plug in, and close it when I'm done.

Yes, @FAUEE Thank you!
That's what I'm thinking. Wondering if anyone has used this brand, or any particular brand to stay away from due to fit / compatibility issues.

It's China stuff man. They're basically all the same. Find one you like the looks of.

Thanks, but I'm looking to replace the lighter assembly. I haven't found a plug in adapter that will work with my lighter. The lighter works as it should, but not the adapters.
I have no idea why.
I like the idea and like someone else mentioned draining the battery since the LED lighted up, yes they draw little power and like me it's my fun car to have fun on weekends, or just sits waiting in the garage to come out, don't need a dead battery.
I like this one, maybe not at night lightning up inside.
