The electrolyte gradually dissipates in these type of capacitors. In my expensive electronics, I replace these every 10 to 15 years. It beats troubleshooting the inevitable glitches that happen because the circuits don't behave as designed or burn up unobtainable semi-conductors. What me worry?

Iam replacing the other caps and came across this one.
not sure what it controls but you are right about the life of electrolytic capacitors. Amazing the ECUs still work. Every one in my bose system was shot. Now its good as new working great.
