Corvette Central Mufflers
To my surprise, a search for the words in my title haven't occured since 2010 and any CC links have changed since then anyway. That means it's difficult to guage any owner's feedback unless I looked through TONS of threads having muffler in the title. I tried for awhile, but gave up deciding to create this thread. I have a few questions I hope to get answered?
*** 84-90, 91, and 92-96
- Are CC's LTx mufflers EXACTLY the same as the OEM mufflers that were disontinued years ago? (They claim identical looks/sound but don't mention performance)
- How are LTx mufflers even considered super good considering the cut-a-ways I've seen show them to be typical turbo-style where they reverse direction twice????
- There are THREE links to Magnaflow mufflers with LTx "square" tips.*** Why the need for 3? Aren't the mounts (hangars) the same across early/late years? (Ebay makes them look the same)
- Descriptions of the Magnaflow mufflers CLAIM less resonance. For straight-thru mufflers, I would bet money this is a load of hooey.

Had Magaflows on my 96 LT4 and felt they were too quiet . Went with Corvette Centrals mufflers eliminators and still feel they are too quite so maybe Im the wrong person to be giving advise Corvette Central is a slow shipper.

Specially interested in replies from people who've owned (or know someone) running CC "Oem style" mufflers or CC Magnaflow mufflers with LTx tips. Magnaflows in general made not be the same model as they make LOTS of configs.
