Default C4 Corvette Looking for Part Names (Advice/help needed)

Good morning, Good Evening, and Happy Saturday!

So I recently ran into some minor trouble with my C4 corvette project and was hoping for the advice of the community. I tried to search through the thread first to see if I could find my answer but for the life of me I did not see a thread that matched what i was looking for. The Problem: I have older Ribbon Regulators in my 1994 (looks like the previous owner used older doors/got older regulators) the ribbon broke and im looking to upgrade. I found Scissor Regulators on Ecklers for an ok cost but i dont know that it comes with all the required hardware I.e nuts, bolts, fastners ect. from the looks of my current regulators there's a chance its missing a couple pieces of hardware.

The ask: Are the regulators on Ecklers legit? I understand they are re-manufactured parts from china but will they work and will they last a "tolerable amount of time" (more than idk a couple years 2-3) and if not what does the community recommend to buy/where to buy? in addition does anyone know what the hardware kit would be called for the window regulator to buy the proper nuts and bolts for the window and the regulator?

Hope this message finds the corvette community well and if there is a thread that already discusses this please reply to this thread with it and i will take this one down to prevent clutter

Thanks!

- Project Banshee

EDIT: I am located in California, SoCal Region, specifically in Orange County

Both doors? That would seem very odd.

*** Your location could have much to do with decisions. I'd personally avoid Eckler. Do you have the FSM(Factory/Field Service Manual)? Mention your location and I might offer up a solution I might consider.

You didn't answer - both doors?

Regardless - I'd maybe look for someone parting a newer C4 locally so that if you bought regulators you could gather all of the required hardware. There are some here that can probably suggest locations in your area that could maybe help. I can't offer up any. You didn't mention having the FSM either. I'd think it would be a great plus.

A C5 conversion kit? I'm not familiar with such a thing.

@WVZR-1 Sorry mis read your question but yes both doors have ribbon regulators and no i do not have the FSM

as for the C5 conversion kit thats just a body kit that was put on the outside of the car. My assumption is that the previous owner when assembling the body kit probably took donor doors from an older vette to work on.

OK - I understand the conversion! Do yours function now but just poorly or are they actually busted? Just one or both? I believe I'd avoid the Eckler purchase and maybe try used locally first like I mentioned. You might post a WTB here on the CF looking for both or each and mention locally preferred. I'd try for maybe latest years available. There should be many I believe parting cars maybe local to you. A plus for you is that used C4 doors don't generate substantial $$$ for resale.
Are you comfortable doing the replacements?

**** It would be interesting and very helpful if some of those that have actually done the replacements like you intend would post there experience doing the change.
