Give this another go using coherent sentence structure and I'm sure that someone familiar with this type of problem can give you some ideas.
Unfortunately, there is a large portion of the Gen Z's that this type of communication is the norm for them. Most would probably not be able to even light up a laptop that has a proper keyboard. You see them everywhere - on their phones "two thumbin' it" like a Woodpecker on a diseased Oak. Even if they pushed the "period" button after one thought, the phone will put in a capital letter for them. Too much effort I guess.
I have a 1985 vette. i put a distributor in. used one in car that was a high performance. runs like crap. does not want to edle (idle) or accelerate. pops and surges. don't know what to do. it seems like tim(m)ing and fuel. new fuel pump, plugs, and wires. tim(m)ing is right. put old one (distributor) back in and runs same. i don't know what to do. I work with one of these kids. Takes me a while to translate.
Just in case the distributor is installed slightly incorrectly I copied this from a thread from 2012 regarding a 1985, yours should use the same install instructions.
Make sure #1 is at TDC and lower distributor all the way in to where rotor points at 5:30 position on clock. I had to play with the oil pump slightly (long screw driver) to get dist to both mesh with cam gear and fall into oil pump slot. Bottom line is to have it pointing at 5:30 position at TDC on #1.
