New Owner here. In the engine wiring harness on the drivers side, I found a dark green setof wires going into an insulated section and coming out brown. I sthis normal? What are these wires responsible for?
Your description sounds like fusible links. However, fuse links don't connect to "green wires". Almost always red or orange.
A picture or more precise description of the location would help. And. Is there a problem that may be associated with these wires? Or just a curiosity.
94 Base Corvette. I am checking continuity along the harness. Trying to see why my alternator is not charging my new battery. Have already checked the fusible links at the battery area and they show flow on both sides. I came across these wires in the harness, and cant seem to get continuity. They are just behind the fuel injector connectors in the harness.
