Chrome wheels...
Were they ever an option directly from GM on our C4s??? I can't find anything on them in the Corvette Black book, but I see ads saying factory GM wheels.
If they were, how much was that option?

They are not listed as a factory option but some dealers did put chrome rims on cars that they put on the show room floor. Mine was one of those and I thought that the rims were a factory option till a few years later when I found out different. I still have the same rims that came on mine though.....

chrome rims look sweet, I had chrome sawblades on my last vette, and I am seriously thinking about sending mine off to get chromed soon! :yesnod:

I have accepted the fact that all auto manufacturers conspire with the aftermarket wheel companies, and get a cut of their profits. The ugly wheels cost them the same to make as nice wheels... so they're not saving you money in the slightest.
