C4 corvette ac compressor

My a/c is not working I have a 1988 I have this loose connector that I believe powers my ac compressor but I have no where to plug it in???

I have an 88 also. The connector joins with the connector from the AC compressor over the top of the compressor. Your other connector is likely hiding somewhere under there!

Thanks for the info, I’m afraid the connector for it got ripped out maybe as I’m not able to locate it.

Sorry for the delay with the picture of mine, I couldn't get a good light. The wire for the connector on mine emerges from behind the compressor clutch as pictured. It's possible that yours is tucked away somewhere under there, but also possible at some point the clutched sheared it off. Good luck!
