Default Well, I did it...

Just sold my 03, and moved back to a C4, 94 to be exact. Arctic White w/red guts, 6 speed, and 21K on the clock. Every scrap of paper on the car from day one. All the rubber parts under the hood have all been recently replaced, hoses, belts, etc., along with all the weather stripping. A lot of folks might question my sanity, but there's just something about a C4 that tugs at my heartstrings. The car is flawless, literally. The only mod on the car is, it has Corsa cat back exhaust. Everything else is bare bones stock. The car has been kept in a climate controlled facility. I'm not sorry I did it. Don't have any pics to upload yet, but I will. The car has every option available for that year, including FX3 ride control w/brand new actuators, and TPMS. I can't wait to get it, the first of next week. New Michelin tires too. Who could ask for more?! It feels like I'm coming home!

I don’t think you’re crazy….C5s are my least fav of all generations, plus my first Vette was a white with red guts vert, 1989, low miles car, so the C4 is a soft spot for me. I had it 7 years and sold it. Regretted it almost instantly. Fast forward 7 or 8 more years and I finally got another Vette in 2019, a 2010 C6 GS with only 11k on the clock. I’ve modded it, tastefully, with a Maggie blower, Kooks long tubes and a bunch of other stuff. I kept thinking I needed a C4, so 2 years ago I got a 1996 LT4 collector edition with only 10k on the clock. I’m keeping it bone stock. I basically daily the C4, letting it catch up to the C6 on mileage; the C6 now has 31k on it and the C4 just hit 23k about two weeks ago.

Congrats on a great C4; look forward to seeing pics of the car when you get it!

The '94 sounds like a nice car. Welcome back!

I like the C4 over the C5 also... partly because the C4 is a smaller car, almost Miata size in comparison (look at pictures side by side).

Welcome back I have never been a fan of the C5. I think the front end looks good, but it loses me after that. And that interior, is just the cheapest Corvette interior they ever did.

I had a 86 and a 94 back in the day. Then I went to a C5 ,C6, C7, and a C8. I have a C2 and some C3's. Never paid much attention to C4's for the past 25 years but in January a triple black 96 LT4 caught my eye and I love it.

Honestly, I would rather have the Arctic White 94 6spd with Torch Red interior, especially if its as perfect as you describe it to be. With the FX3 and the 6spd, it has the perfect options. No doubt it has the Bose sound system as well. I can only imagine it has sport seats, which are incredible. The color combination is absolutely one of the best on a C4 in my opinion. The Corsa exhaust is the icing on the cake for the car. I will definitely look forward to seeing pictures of the car when you are able to post them!!

My very first Vette was a '94, Arctic White with black interior. I loved that car. I have since had an '2001 C5, a 2010 C6 and two C4's, one of which was a ZR-1. I liked all my cars but I keep coming back to the C4 because in my opinion it's more of a driver's car. Cheaper to maintain, engines are pretty much bulletproof (even the LT-5). And I am shocked at how much attention my car gets these days.

Best of luck with your new one.
