Does anyone use a clear car cover?Even though my car is in a garage, I would like to keep it clean and keep dust off of it.But I enjoy looking at it.
As long as it breathes, I can say stay away from plastic type covers. The dust trapped can scuff / scratch paint. You need a material that allows air through so moisture does not get trapped, also a fabric that does not scratch or scuff the paint. I do like the see through bubble tent like ones, some with fans but only suited to winter storage due to setup time.
Most quality brand car covers are designed with garage use and use suitable material to protect the paintwork. Just be glad you don't own a black corvette, they just need a wash every time you want to drive them 😆 No matter how clean the car was there will be dust, until we can control dust attraction and static electricity ... 🙄
